Dan’s first professional acting engagement in a corporate setting was back in 2001 whilst still at university, performing as an office intern in a piece of forum theatre dealing with harassment in the workplace. Over the years since, he has been involved in role play exercises, presentations and workshops in a variety of settings; helping HR departments to navigate challenging conversations, the Judicial Appointments Commission to evaluate and select new court room judges in simulated trials and tribunals and NHS workers to hone their interpersonal skills when providing for the emotional needs of their patients.
As a presenter, Dan regularly fronts information and advertisement campaigns for the public and private sectors alike. He has given his voice to adverts for radio and, as an actor, to a children’s audio book containing 28 different characters. He also performed on the radio (BBC Radio 4) in a comedy show called Colin Hoult’s Carnival of Monsters (series 1 & 2) in which he played a variety of strange characters and abominations. Prior to this, Dan appeared in a scene from the original Edinburgh show on Russell Howard’s Good News on BBC Three.
