Trained as an actor at Rose Bruford College, London, École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq, Paris, and studied at Ladislav Fialka Mime School in Prague.
Harmage has worked in TV, Film, Radio & Theatre for over thirty-five years as an actor, producer and director. He also works internationally, his next project being in Canada at The Shaw Theatre at Niagara-On-The-Lake, a production of The Mahabharata with a world tour by Theatre Why Not.
Harmage also works in the role-play sector playing various roles and as a simulated patient for over twenty-five years, from medical role-plays to the corporate world. Playing diverse roles in training and trainee created scenarios, as well as medical exams for all areas of the medical profession and health care including medical institutes, teaching hospitals and universities.
Other areas of role-playing include customer relationship training, customer service and cultural awareness, advanced & enhanced Communication Skills, advanced care planning, end of life, social care departments, incapacity & disability benefit departments, mental health, judicial appointments commission, business law, solicitors exams, physician associate admissions and exams, transport for London, Thames water, reed learning.
Harmage has worked on many videos and training films playing various roles in the corporate sector. He has been involved in forum theatre presentations with corporate companies.
Harmage has been Equality & Diversity trained and has a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate. He is proficient in using various platforms: Zoom, MS Teams, Practique and Osler with experience of tech issues for virtual role-playing and exams.
