Julie is an actor and voice artist. Having studied Drama at Goldsmiths College, Julie acted in her twenties, and then had a second career in psychotherapy and training. She worked for Relate for many years, working with couples on relationship issues, and running training courses for the general public on relationship and communication skills, and conflict resolution. Continuing her passion for “what makes people tick”, she returned to acting 10 years ago, and trained at City Lit, The Actors Temple and The Impulse Company, and attends regular professional development courses at The Actors Centre.
Julie has extensive theatre experience and has also acted in many short films. Her “live” corporate acting experience includes various courses for HR professionals on Using Conciliation, Presenting Skills and working one to one on skills development and giving feedback. Corporate film work includes playing a care home manager, medical expert, doctor and counselling supervisor for multiple clients in the health sector. As a voiceover artist, she has voiced several corporate films, and seems to have the knack of enlivening some often quite dry material!
