Role Play Actor and Assessor - Alex

Alexander initially trained as a lawyer before training to be an actor at the Royal Scottish
Academy of Music and Drama in 1989. He then worked for 20 years as a professional actor:
Shakespeare, contemporary drama and comedy, musicals and pantomimes, West End, New York,
touring and regional rep. TV, commercials, voice-overs and training videos. In 2012 he took a
break from acting and retrained as an academic librarian. He then worked in Universities for
over 10 years to eventually become City Law School’s library assistant manager, which involved
both educating students and supervising and training junior staff. He recently returned to
professional acting.

He has a wide experience of corporate role-play and training, including work in sectors such as the N.H.S., Higher Education, Broadcasting, Accountancy, Education and Professional Organisations.

He is also a trained lecturer, capable of presenting, facilitating panel or group discussions, and
forum theatre.
